Back on October 9, 2015, Glenn participated in the annual Pumpkinfest in Damariscotta. The Boothbay Register posted an article about the event, with the following quote from Glenn and a photo:

Cartoonist Glenn Chadbourne said that his pumpkin was the largest he had painted since he began in 2008. His giant gourd in front of King Eider’s Pub weighed 1,435 pounds.

Always on a horror theme, Chadbourne was not sure how it would turn out but the eventual piece would “drip out of my head” as he moved along.

Saturday, October 3rd, I’ll be hosting the Merrimack Valley Halloween Book Festival (free and open to the public!)

When: 10/3/15 from 1pm till 7:30pm.

What: Horror and Suspense authors from New England – and all around the Northeast U.S. – will be selling and signing books throughout the event, and participating in panel discussions in the theater about New England Horror Tradition, what makes something scary, new fears, and childhood terrors. The event will conclude with a quintet of authors doing a live reading of Robert Louis Stevenson’s classic Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
